Chamber of Commerce

The San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, representing more than 1,000 business members, promotes the City's business community. The Board of Directors serves on a volunteer basis representing local business interests at City Council, School Board, and commission meetings. With the support of a professional staff, Chamber committees advise members on business, community development, redevelopment, traffic safety, land use, and workforce development. Downtown Association

The mission of the San Leandro Downtown Association (SLDA) is to create a positive, cooperative and inclusive atmosphere in the downtown area that encourages and promotes commerce. The SLDA meets once monthly, the 4th Friday of each month, at the Englander Restaurant, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. The meetings provide all businesses with the opportunity to fast track concerns through City Hall, and membership provides cross motion marketing participation via Downtown events and a presence on their website. Police Department representatives attend the monthly meetings, making themselves available to hear our feedback and concerns. The SLDA produces a series of events in the downtown including BikeSL each May, the Sausage & Suds Music Festival each October, It’s a Wonderful Night each December and is a sponsor of the very popular seasonal Farmers’ Market taking place each May – October on Parrott Street. Business Association of South San Leandro

The Business Association of South San Leandro (BASSL) is made up of businesses from the area that runs from Blossom Street to just below the BayFair Mall on E. 14th Street and from Fairmont Drive all the way out Hesperian Boulevard to the San Lorenzo border. The association provides an opportunity for local business people to discuss concerns and provide suggestions for improvements that enhance business opportunities, particularly in the E. 14th Street corridor. The association's Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month and meetings of the full membership are held quarterly. For more information, call (510) 289-9526.


San Leandro Shoreline Business Association

Located at the San Leandro Marina Area, the Shoreline Business Association (SLBA) consists of the Marina Inn, Horatio's and El Torito restaurants, San Leandro Yacht Harbor and Monarch Bay Golf Club. The San Leandro Marina area is only 7 minutes from Oakland International Airport and 25 minutes from downtown San Francisco.
