The City of San Leandro is presently working to development a strategy to enhance broadband service and availability for businesses in San Leandro. An initial draft of the Strategy was presented at a City Council Work Session on April 9, 2012.

One component of the larger effort to improve digital infrastructure is Lit San Leandro, a project that will install a ten-mile fiber optic loop through several parts of the City. Please click the Lit San Leandro logo for more information on this exciting project.

Broadband Survey: We need your feedback

We are also conducting an online survey to reach a greater number of respondents. If you are a representative of a San Leandro business, please take a few minutes to fill out the survey.

Two workshops were also held in July 2011 with local businesses to solicit feedback and suggestions.
