Economic Development News and Updates

On December 16, 2013 the City Council adopted an Economic Development Strategy and Work Plan (Strategy) to guide the economic growth and development of the City of San Leandro.  The Strategy includes a snapshot of San Leandro's economy and outlines the nine initiatives designed to create a positive environment for investment in our economy.

The City of San Leandro Community Development Department recently launched "San Leandro Next," a blog and social media initiative to provide news and updates on economic development and innovation. Postings will include news on new business openings, updates on major development projects, and ongoing progress reports as we work to build an innovation ecosystem in San Leandro.
