Redevelopment Agency

On February 1, 2012, the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency was officially dissolved as a result of actions taken by the California State Legislature. The City of San Leandro will serve as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency for the purposes of managing ongoing payment obligations and liquidating assets.

Successor Oversight Board
A seven-member Oversight Board has been appointed and will be charged with overseeing the approval of Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules and real estate transactions for the former Redevelopment Agency. Enforceable Obligations and Payment Schedules
Pursuant to the requirements of Assembly Bill x1 26, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro adopted a Schedule of Enforceable Obligations for payments due through December 31, 2011. The Schedule was originally adopted by Agency resolution 2011-010 RDA. An amended Schedule was adopted on by Resolution 2012-002 RDA to cover payments due through June 30, 2012.

The Agency has also prepared a Preliminary Recognized Obligation Schedule covering obligations due between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2012.
