The City Clerk's Office works with City departments and members of the community to conduct a number of activities. The City Clerk's Office is responsible for:
Processing agreements and recording official documents
Performing required legal noticing for City Council meetings, including public hearings, so that all interested parties have an opportunity to participate
Responding to public requests for information
Issuing permits for a variety of activities such as nonprofit solicitations and close-out sales
Coordinating the City Records Management Program to ensure that public records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements
Coordinating the broadcast of the City Council agenda and other public service announcements on the government access channel
