The candidate nomination period for the November 6, 2012 General Municipal Election has closed. Anyone who desires to be a write-in candidate may obtain and file the necessary forms between September 10 and October 23, 2012. Candidate Information
The 2012 Candidate Information List has the names, contact information, ballot designations, and links to the Candidate Statement and campaign disclosure forms for all of the qualified candidates in the San Leandro City election. Sign up here to receive updates on candidates as they are posted.
The materials submitted by each candidate are available for public review at the City Clerk's Office during a 10-calendar-day public examination of election materials, beginning Monday, August 13, 2012.
A Candidate Orientation was held on Thursday, August 23, for City Council candidates and applicants for the Council District 4 vacancy. The orientation was open to the public. City staff members gave a presenation on the services and projects provided by City departments. The PowerPoint presentation is available here.
