Meeting Central

Meeting Central (for agendas, minutes, etc.) is a web portal for accessing information pertaining to the City Council and the boards and commissions.

  • Calendar tab – browse a dynamic calendar of past and upcoming meetings, obtain agenda item details, view and download agendas and minutes, and stream and download media files

  • Records tab – search and print agenda items/legislative records such as staff reports and resolutions

  • Committees/Commissions tab – look up past and current elected and appointed officials and current vacancies of legislative and advisory bodies

Agendas and Minutes

VisitMeeting Central. Agendas are generally available 72 hours before a meeting. Final minutes are available after approval, usually after the next regular meeting.

Video/Audio Streaming

Visit Meeting Central. Digital recordings of many public meetings are available in Meeting Central. Recordings are in audio only from January 2011 to October 2013. Beginning mid-October 2013, City Council meetings held in the City Council Chambers are captured on video and available for live streaming on the Web and viewing on Cable Channel 15 as a meeting occurs.

System Requirements

Video streaming typically requires the use of media plugins. To enable the most effective streaming experience for all browsers and operating systems, installation of the Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Silverlight plugins is recommended if they are available for your system. City Council Records (Prior to 2012)

Meeting Central contains records dated October 2011 and after. More City records are available in the online records database. For an overview of the database and how to use the system, visit the Public Records Online page.

All Day Event19th Annual East Bay Affordable Housing Week Begins May 8th

This year’s Affordable Housing Week, organized by East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO), is May 8 through May 17. The theme is “Here to Stay: Building Inclusive Communities”. The 10-day-long Affordable Housing Week is a celebration of affordable homes, the benefits they bring to communities, and the people who live in, develop, manage and support affordable housing throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

On May 8, the 19th Annual Affordable Housing Week Kick-Off Celebration will be held at Uptown Body and Fender, located at 401 26th Street in Oakland, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For tickets, please visit www.ebho.org/ or call (510) 839-3100.

The calendar of events provides additional information about the 21 events in 8 cities across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties throughout Affordable Housing Week.
