The work to be done consists of: augmenting structural steel members to two parallel sanitary sewer pipe bridge trusses; upgrading connections to the existing abutments; replacing approximately 100-linear feet each of 20” and 18” pipe with flanged connections and flexible connections; constructing & installing wing walls; removing vegetation; bank excavation; replacement of removed vegetation; maintaining sewer service throughout the construction period; and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use.

BIOSOLIDS PROCESSING

The City of San Leandro (City) is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Biosolids Processing (drying biosolids via aeration using a low ground pressure windrow turner) at our Water Pollution Control Plant beginning in May and running through October of 2011, approximately 16-24 hours per week and for a estimated total of 520 hours for the project. 

San Leandro Blvd (SLB)/Davis St. Sewer Capacity Improvements - Phase I

The work to be done consists of installing an 18” sanitary line, installing new manholes, grouting lines to be abandoned in place, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use.

WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT REHABILITATION

The work to be done includes, but not limited to, demolition of existing facilities, new headworks and influent pump station, new grit facility, primary clarifier nos. 1 and 2 improvements, new primary clarifier no. 3, new fixed-film reactor, new biofilter odor control facilities, secondary clarifier nos. 1 and 2 improvements, equalization tank nos. 1 to 3 improvements, new equalization basin, digester nos. 1 and 2 improvements, administration control building (Bid Alternative A), civil and yard facilities improvements, landscaping improvements, electrical system improvements, instrumentation and control system improvements, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use.
