Summer Reading Challenge at the San Leandro Public Library

June 3 to August 4, 2017

It’s free and fun for all ages!

 

Are you ready for a summer of fun? All ages are invited to join the “Read…Imagine…Design” Summer Reading Challenge at the San Leandro Public Library to earn prizes for reading and learning over the summer! Read and complete fun activities to earn prizes from the prize board and special incentives, like free admission to museums, and free ice cream, swimming and golf! Complete the Challenge by August 4 and celebrate your success at our Finisher Events:

  • Toddlers, Preschoolers and Kids: Summer Reading Carnival on Saturday, August 5
  • Teens: Teen Reader Party on Friday, August 11
  • Adults: DIY Terrarium Party on Saturday, August 12

How to join:

Visit any San Leandro Public Library location starting Saturday, June 3 to register and receive your challenge board, or sign up online at sanleandrolibrary.beanstack.org or click here. You get a free prize just for signing up! The last day to register is Tuesday, August 1. Invite friends and family to join too! The San Leandro Library will offer $10 in fine forgiveness to Summer Reading Challenge participants if we reach our goal by August 4 of 5,000 readers! We have programs for all ages:
