Join Us for Star Wars Reads Day at the Main Library!

Join us, you will, on Saturday, October 11 between 1pm and 4pm for Star Wars Reads Day! The Main Library will celebrate with a fun-filled afternoon for families featuring everything Star Wars. We'll have Star Wars-inspired crafts and fun activities for the whole family, and you are encouraged to dress up as your favorite character. This is a drop-in program, so stop by between 1:00pm - 4:00pm to join the fun!

Nocturnal Creatures Program with Sulphur Creek Nature Center

Find out all about "Things That Go Bump in the Night" with this special family nature program at the Main Library on Tuesday, October 14 at 6:30pm. Sulphur Creek Nature Center will bring four nocturnal creatures to the Library—a bat, opossum, owl and skunk—and teach us about their nighttime habits! All ages welcome, but this program is best for kids ages 4 and up. This program will be held in the Lecture Hall. Questions? Please call 577-3960.

FREE Family Fun Night on Oct. 22: Halloween Puppet Show!

Join us at the Main Library on Wednesday, October 22 at 7pm for a Halloween-themed Family Fun Night. Winnie the Witch Loves Halloween, especially the candy! One her way to pick up sweets on Candy Island she discovers Willard the Wizard is trying to ruin Halloween. With the help of the audience and her trusty broomstick, Winnie must dodge Dancing Ghosts, Batty Bats and Silly Skeletons to save Halloween! This black-light puppet show is presented by our friends from Puppet Art Theater Co. Parents, this show will be presented with the lights turned OFF. Doors open at 6:50pm and the show starts at 7pm.
