Paws to Read is back at the Main Library

Paws to Read at the San Leandro Main Library
In Paws to Read, children in grades 1-5 have a chance to practice reading aloud. The "listeners" are trained therapy dogs, who listen without judgment. The program offers a fun way for kids to work on their reading skills. Enrollment for the spring 2012 session at the San Leandro Main Library starts Tuesday, January 17. All sessions are held on Tuesdays afternoons between 3:30pm and 5pm. Download the attached flyer for dates and more information, or call the Main Library children's desk at 577-3960.
