Students in grades 6 to 12 can enjoy a movie on the Main Library's big screen after school on Tuesday, February 21 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Snacks will be provided. No registration or tickets are necessary. The movie title will be announced on February 14. Want to help choose which movie we will show? Vote in the poll on the library's teen web page. San Leandro Public Library continues its journey into the 21st century by offering eBooks and audiobooks to its patrons who wish to use a digital format to read or listen to books on a computer, eBook reader, or mobile device.
This new collection is in direct response to the requests of library patrons, particularly those who have little time to visit the library. The Library is using OverDrive, the global leader in digital distribution, to provide this new eBook and audiobook collection. The Library has selected new and popular fiction and nonfiction digital materials representing a variety of genres and subjects for all ages. There’s something for everyone and it’s all available anytime, anywhere using an internet connection.
