The Environmental Services Section takes pride in serving as a comprehensive environmental contact point for the city's residents and businesses. | The Environmental Services Section is responsible for: - Hazardous Materials -- regulating the storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes above and below ground.
- Sewer/Pretreatment -- monitoring and regulating discharges of wastewater into the City's sanitary sewer system.
- Site Information & Review -- maintaining and making available files and information about businesses that handle hazardous materials.
- Storm Water Program -- safeguarding the City's storm water system through regular inspections and responding to reports of spills and illegal discharges of hazardous materials or other potentially harmful substances.
