Located at the intersection of Davis Street and Orchard Avenue, is the City's oldest park. Renovated in 1992, this community park has several unique features, including a lighted regulation softball field, a skateboard park, and a historical railway society building. In addition, the picnic areas, playground, and green space provide for neighborhood recreation needs. There are six barbecue pits, six picnic tables, a tot lot and restrooms.
Picnic areas at this park are available for reservation from April 1 through October 31.
Insurance is required for parties of 100 people or more.
Vehicle Access Permits and Amplified Sound are not permitted at Thrasher Park.
Inflatables are allowed in: ALL RESERVABLE AREAS during the picnic season, April 1 – October 31 with proper
permit only. Only companies from our approved list are allowed to place inflatables in San Leandro Parks.
Wet inflatables (those which use water) and inflatables requiring multiple generators are not permitted. Only one
inflatable per designated picnic area is allowed.
