Thrasher Park, located at the intersection of Davis Street and Orchard Avenue, is the City's oldest park. Renovated in 1992, this community park has several unique features, including a lighted regulation softball field, a skateboard park, and a historical railway society building. In addition, the picnic areas, playground, and green space provide for neighborhood recreation needs. There are six barbecue pits, six picnic tables, a tot lot and restrooms.
Picnic areas at this park are available for reservation from April 1 through October 31.
Insurance is required for parties of 100 people or more.
Vehicle Access Permits and Amplified Sound are not permitted at Thrasher Park.
Inflatables are allowed in: ALL RESERVABLE AREAS.
