The San Leandro Family Aquatic Center (SLFAC) is located at Washington Manor Park. This dynamic, state of the art facility offers an activity pool with zero depth entry and water play structure, three 25-yard lap lanes, a ‘spray’ ground, and a 17-feet tall water slide. For your convenience the SLFAC has restroom and shower facilities, a family changing room, and outdoor day-use lockers. Aquatics programs at this facility include swimming lessons and public recreational swim. The San Leandro Family Aquatics Center is open seasonally from June to August
The San Leandro Family Aquatics Center is scheduled to open:
Weekends- Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
San Leandro Family Aquatic Center Recreational Swim times are daily from 1-4:45 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday the pool will always open at 1 p.m. If, at 3 p.m., attendance is less than 15, the facility will close.
- Monday through Friday the pool will be open unless the temperature is 60 degrees or below at noon; in which case the pool will not open. If, at 3 p.m., attendance is less than 15, the facility will close.
The pool will close due to thunder, lightning or a maintenance issue.
Public Recreation Swim
Public Recreation Swim hours are 1:00 PM to 4:45 PM during the pool season. All ages are welcome, however, please note: children 10 and under will need to be accompanied by a paying adult and children under the age of 6 will need to be within an arm’s reach of an adult at all times while in the pool. The cost is $5.00 for each person entering the facility (even if they will not be swimming). Children under 2 years old are free.
