The San Leandro History Museum is located near downtown San Leandro behind the San Leandro Plaza shopping center, nextdoor to the Casa Peralta.


Directions

Public Transportation is an easy and great way to visit the museum. The San Leandro BART station is only a few blocks away and AC Transit has bus stops just around the corner from the museum at the intersection of Davis and Hays Streets as well as on Hays Street.

Driving
From 580 East....coming from Oakland
Exit at Dutton/Estudillo, turn right on Estudillo Avenue, turn right on E. 14th Street, turn left on Davis Street, turn left on Hays Street, turn right on  W. Estudillo Avenue.
From 580 West...coming from Castro Valley, San Ramon
Exit at Estudillo Ave, turn right on Grand Avenue, turn left on Estudillo AVenue, turn right on E. 14th Street, turn left on Davis Street, turn left on Hays Street, turn right on  W. Estudillo Avenue. 

From 880 North...coming from Oakland
Exit at Davis Street, turn left on Davis Street, turn right on Hays Street (right before E. 14th Street), turn right on W. Estudillo Avenue.
Exit 880 South...coming from Hayward
Exit at Davis Street, turn right on Davis Street, turn right on Hays Street (right before E. 14th Street), turn right on W. Estudillo Avenue. 


Parking
Free 2-hour parking is available in front of the museum as well as in the San Leandro Plaza shopping area. Unrestricted parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.


Accessibility
Wheelchairs: The Museum and outdoor courtyard is fully wheelchair accessible. 
Changing Stations: Changing stations are available in both accessible restrooms.
