LINK+ gives you free access to millions of books, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs from over 60 libraries.

LINK+ is a combined catalog from libraries throughout California and NevadaWith your San Leandro Public Library card, you can request any LINK+ item that isn't available from San Leandro library to be delivered to the Main or Manor branch.   


How to Use LINK+ 

  • Search our catalog. If we don't have what you want, search in LINK+ to see if other libraries have a copy to borrow.
  • Most LINK+ requests arrive in less than one week. We'll contact you when your item is ready to pick up.
  • Return LINK+ items to the Main or Manor Branches.
  • You can also call us at 510-577-3971 to order LINK+ items over the phone with a Librarian.

FAQs

How do I request items on LINK+?

  1. If you can not find what you are looking for in the San Leandro Public Library catalog, search for items in the LINK+ catalog. When you find the item you would like to borrow the click Request It button.
  2. Select San Leandro Public Library from the drop down menu on the next screen. 
  3. Enter your name, library card number, choose your desired pickup location, and click Submit
  4. You will be notified when the item is ready for pickup. 

What does it cost to request an item? 

The service is free!

How many LINK+ items can I borrow?

Customers can have 10 LINK+ items checked out at one time and 5 LINK+ items requested at once. 

How long does it take for a LINK+ request to arrive?

Most items are received 4 to 7 days after the request is placed. You then have 7 days to pick up the item. 

How long can I borrow LINK+ items?

You can borrow LINK+ items for 21 days.

How do I know when my LINK+ requests arrive at the library?

You will receive either an e-mail or phone call to let you know the item is ready for pickup. 

Can I renew the items?

LINK+ items have the possibility of being renewed once, unless the item has been requested by the owning library. Overdue LINK+ items may not be renewed. 

Where do I pick up, check out, and return my LINK+ items?

When you receive notice your LINK+ item is ready, ask a Clerk at the Circulation desk to check out the item with your San Leandro Public Library card. Return all LINK+ items with a staff member at the Circulation desk. 

What are the fees for overdue, lost, or damaged items?

The charge is $115 per item if you lose or damage a LINK+ item. Customers who lose a LINK+ item should call 510-577-3951 or email [email protected]

How can I check the status of my LINK+ request?

You can check the status of your  request by logging into your LINK+ account at solco.iii.com/patroninfo

How do I cancel a LINK+ request? 

To cancel your LINK+ request log into your account at solco.iii.com/patroninfo and cancel your request. Items that are already intransit can not be canceled. Please call or email the Circulation office to cancel requests that are already intransit. 510-577-3951 or [email protected]
