Personal

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Fred is a proud resident and homeowner in San Leandro since 1996 where he and his wife enjoy their family life with two growing sons.  Fred is a Boy Scout leader in San Leandro and also enjoys walking, hiking and biking throughout San Leandro with his family, including their rescue chihuahua - dachshund (chiweenie) Max.

Key Priorities

Investing in community equity and quality of life, bringing in new housing and businesses, fighting climate change, police reform, eliminating homelessness, increasing safety and beautifying San Leandro.

Occupation

Fred is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in the state of California, with over 25 years engineering experience in the Bay Area, having worked at the Contra Costa Water District and the East Bay Municipal Utility District. 

Education

Fred earned his Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University (1996) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis (1994).

 Fred graduated from St. Mary’s College High School in Berkeley (1989) and St. Augustine Elementary School in Oakland (1985).
