A Lot Line Adjustment/parcel combine can be requested if all of the following criteria are met:
- There are between four or fewer parcels
- The parcels are adjoining
- The newly created parcel(s) conform to the City's General Plan and any applicable zoning and building ordinances

Parklet Program - Two Year Pilot Study
On April 17, 2017, City Council unanimously approved a two year pilot study of parklets in San Leandro. During this pilot study, two permits will be issued for parklets to be constructed in San Leandro. Interested in finding out more about parklets and the City's application for a parklet permit?

San Francisco and Oakland have many different types of parklets, showing the broad range of well-constructed, aesthetically pleasing installations that can invigorate neighborhoods.
City staff provides the following reviews for private development:
- Field conditions and changes, lot line changes, construction inspection, survey monument checks
- Geotechnical and hydrologic studies and calculations
- Joint utility trench plans, preparation of conditions of approval, lighting, and landscaping construction plans
- Subdivision and parcel maps and improvement plans for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act and all applicable codes and City standards
- Other activities, as needed

City staff provides the following reviews for private development: subdivision and parcel maps and improvement plans for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act and all applicable codes and City standards; geotechnical and hydrologic studies and calculations; joint utility trench plans, preparation of conditions of approval, lighting, and landscaping construction plans; and field conditions and changes, lot line changes, construction inspection, survey monument checks and other activities, as needed.
Division of land or airspace to four or fewer parcels or units requires filing of Parcel Map Application (PDF). Land division into five or more parcels or units requires a Tentative Map and a Final Map. Tentative Maps are processed by the City's Community Development Department. The Final Map is processed by the Engineering and Transportation Department. For questions regarding Tentative Maps and submittal requirements, contact the Community Development at (510) 577-3325.
The Land Development Section is responsible for ensuring that public improvements constructed as part of a private development project meet all City standards and conditions of approval prior to acceptance of the improvements.

The purpose of the federally-mandated Clean Water Program is to eliminate pollutants from the storm water system so that only clean water enters our waterways and ultimately the San Francisco Bay.
Land Development staff review erosion and pollution control plans and post-construction treatment control measures in development submittals for compliance with San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements.
