Redevelopment Successor Agency

The City of San Leandro will serve as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency for the purposes of managing ongoing payment obligations and liquidating assets. Please check the League of California Cities Redevelopment Dissolution Resources webpage for more information regarding the process of eliminating the Redevelopment Agency.

On July 1, 2018 a seven-member Countywide Oversight Board was appointed and will be charged with overseeing the approval of Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules and real estate transactions for the former Redevelopment Agency.
