The San Leandro Public Library is a selective Federal Depository Library for documents published by the U.S. Superintendent of Documents. This prestigious designation gives the community access to thousands of government publications, both in print and electronically.
The basic depository collection includes the United States Code, the Code of Federal Regulations, the Congressional Record, and the Federal Register.

Additionally, the library's depository collection includes books and pamphlets on a variety of subjects such as health, employment, Social Security, business, history, and travel. The collection also has many maps, including California topographic maps and maps showing various countries.
