Give to the San Leandro Public Library Foundation

The San Leandro Public Library Foundation was established in 1992 to raise funds to support the library and Project Literacy. The Foundation provides several levels of giving opportunities for those who wish to donate to ensure that library continues to be a valuable resource in the community. Benefactors and Patrons are recognized on a permanent donor wall in the Grand Lobby of the Main Library. Lecture Hall Chair Sponsors have their names permanently engraved on a lecture hall chair.

The San Leandro Public Library Foundation has generously provided funding for library materials, the seismic retrofit and expansion of the Main Library, library furnishings, electronic equipment, and library sculptures and art. The Foundation was instrumental in raising funds to establish the San Leandro History Room, located at the Main Library

Donations are tax deductible. The San Leandro Public Library Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) charitable, non-profit organization. To learn more about giving options, please call 510-577-3965.
