Solid Waste & Recycling

The City of San Leandro Recycling Program promotes the 4 R's (reduce, reuse, recycle, rot) to minimize waste and protect our environment. We provide technical assistance and host community events to help residents and businesses keep recyclable materials out of landfills.

The Recycling Program is pleased to resume offering community events.  To ensure everyone's safety, we have made changes, such as requiring appointments, to some events.  All events are subject to health and safety guidelines in place on event day.  Note that event schedules are subject to change, including cancellation.
