San Leandro property owners who wish to close or convert a Mobile Home Park must comply with Zoning Code Chapter 5.28, Mobile Home Park Conversions.

Mobile Home Park Policy Update

At the City Council's direction, the City is proposing to amend the Zoning Code to add Chapter 3.34, MHP Mobile Home Park Overlay District, and amend Chapter 5.28, Mobile Home Park Conversions, to strengthen anti-displacement protections for mobile home park residents. Minor related amendments are also proposed for consistency with the above stated amendments.  Zoning Map Amendments are proposed to apply the MHP Mobile Home Park Overlay District to existing San Leandro mobile home parks.
