California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

The California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program is currently accepting applications for both Round 8 and Round 9. Available grants range from $5,000 to $25,000, depending on revenue.

The deadline for Round 8, which targets non-profit cultural institutions only, has been extended to September 30, 2021.

New applicants are invited to participate in Round 9 of the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program from September 9 until September 30.

The State of California also provides a list of Funding Programs.

Kiva

Loans up to $15,000 at 0% interest are available through this non-profit lending group. Borrowers with strong connections with their clients are most likely to qualify. Non-profits may apply as well. Collateral is not required and there is a 6-month grace period on repayment. View Kiva loan information and the application.

State of California's iBank Program

This program is designed to make loans available to business owners who do not qualify for federal/Small Business Administration loan programs, including undocumented immigrants. You can apply or get more information through the partners listed on the Small Business Finance Center website.
