Proposed Interim Homeless Shelter/Navigation Center at the Nimitz Motel

 What:              Learn about the City’s recent efforts to purchase the Nimitz Motel (555 Lewelling Blvd) and application submittal to the State Project Homekey Program to acquire & renovate the motel into an interim homeless navigation center with housing/shelter and future conversion to permanent supportive housing. The City is partnering with local nonprofit homeless services provider Building Futures for this interim phase.
