1. What if I can’t read 1,000 books?

Yes you can!

Read in the language you know best!

No matter how short the book is, it counts!

3 books a day is 1,095 books per year!

2. What if my child wants to read the same book over and over?

Great! Repetition is key to learning. You could read the same book 1,000 times and finish the program (not that you’d want to!). Count every reading once.

3. I don’t know which books to read! Can you help?

Don’t worry! Our librarians would love to suggest some books for you. Find personalized recommendations and visit our Booklist page, too!

4. Do I have to read books from the library?

You can read books from anywhere, not just library books.

5. Can I log the books my child hears in storytime?

Yes! Any and every book your child hears or explores counts!
