1. What is unlawful outdoor storage?

Outdoor storage is the accumulation of abandoned, discarded, or dilapidated objects; including but not limited to: junk, machine parts, scrap material, appliances, furniture, household furnishings, containers, packing materials, and scrap metal. (San Leandro Municipal Code Title III, Section 3-1-200)

2. What about building materials?

Accumulation of dirt, sand, gravel, concrete, litter, debris or similar material is also considered Unlawful Outdoor Storage unless permitted by applicable zoning designation and/or conditional use permit. (San Leandro Municipal Code Title III, Section 3-1-200)

3. What if I have a fence?

Materials stacked above any fence in any Zoning District where outdoor storage is not permitted. (San Leandro Municipal Code Title III, Section 3-1-200)
