Located at the intersection of Davis Street and Orchard Avenue, Thrasher is the City's oldest park. Renovated in 1992, this community park has several unique features, including a lighted regulation softball field, a skateboard park, and a historical railway society building. In addition, the picnic areas, playgrounds, and green spaces provide for neighborhood recreation needs. There are six barbecue pits, six picnic tables, a tot lot and restrooms. Picnic areas at this park are available for reservation from May 1 through October 31. Daily park operational hours are from 8 am to 7 pm.
Insurance is required for parties of 100 people or more.
Inflatables with proper permit are allowed at this park, in the picnic area under reservation.
