SAN LEANDRO, CA: The City of San Leandro’s Youth Advisory Commission and the Recreation and Human Services Department invites youth to a fun alternative to the average pumpkin patch picking on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the San Leandro Family Aquatic Center located at 14900 Zelma Street from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
WHAT: Annual Pumpkin Splash
WHEN: Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The annual Pumpkin Splash will transform the San Leandro Family Aquatic Center pool into a floating pumpkin patch where youth ages five to 17 are invited to swim and pick floating pumpkins. Children under the age of six must be within an arm’s reach of an adult at all times. During swim, each participant will choose a pumpkin to later decorate then take home to display. Participation fee for swimmers is $12.
Pre-registration is required. To register, visit the San Leandro Recreation and Human Services Department’s website at www.sanleandrorec.org. Register in-person at the San Leandro Senior Community Center located at 13909 East 14th Street or Marina Community Center at 15301 Wicks Boulevard. Proceeds from this event will be used for the Youth Advisory Commission’s Mini-Grant Program and will be granted to youth serving organizations in the San Leandro Community.
