The San Leandro History Museum staff hosts this monthly virtual book club via Zoom every Second Thursday of the month from 6-7pm. This monthly Zoom Book Club is open to all adults interested in joining, to discuss books. Not a fan of Historical Fiction books? We welcome readers of all genres and interests to join us and discuss their current reads or just to come chat and get some recommendations from other attendees in the community.
This book club has no commitments, come once, attend regularly, not a reader, or just want to hear people discuss what they're reading--All are welcome!

In the face of escalating violent attacks against Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities the City of San Leandro and the Library stand in unity with our AAPI communities. The City of San Leandro condemns these assaults and incidents of anti-Asian sentiment. We stand in solidarity with our AAPI colleagues and community in denouncing racism and expression of hate, discrimination, and xenophobia of any kind.
Use the link in our bio to view our updated our Anti-racist Resources and Reads page to find booklists, resources, and information to combat racism.
