FREE - Celebrate Black History with Movie Night

We invite adults 18 and over to celebrate Black History Month with refreshments (while supplies last) and a free movie, "The Last Black Man of San Francisco", at the Main Library on Saturday, February 29 after-hours from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Jimmie Fails and his best friend Mont try to reclaim the house built by Jimmie's grandfather, launching them on a poignant odyssey that connects them to their past, even as it tests their friendship and sense of belonging in the place they call home.

This 2019 Sundance Film Festival Best Directing award winner is Rated R and runs 2 hours and 1 minute and we will screen it from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Soul food will be provided by local restaurant Southern Cafe from 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM.
