San Leandro Public Library Library Card application now available online

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the San Leandro Public Library is now offering temporary access to our digital resources by applying for a Digital Library Card. 

Eligible patrons are one of the following:

  • A resident of incorporated San Leandro
  • A student at an approved San Leandro or San Lorenzo school
  • A teacher at an approved San Leandro or San Lorenzo school


To get started, email our Circulation Department (Circulation@sanleandro.org) with the following information:

Adults/Teens (14 years old and over)/San Leandro and San Lorenzo Teachers

  • Name
  • Birthdate
  • Phone number (for Library PIN)
  • Current address
  • School (if teacher)

Minors (under 14 years of age)

  • Name (child)
  • Birthdate (child)
  • Name (parent/guardian)
  • Phone number (for Library PIN)
  • Current address
  • School
