STATUS: Alameda County Order & Reopening Plan in Progress

The most recent Alameda County Health Officer Order allows libraries to reopen at less than 25% capacity on October 9, 2020.

The San Leandro Public Library will not be reopening on October 9, 2020.

However, we are developing a plan to reopen our buildings as soon as possible. This plan includes making modifications to our library spaces and training library staff on required protocols including how best to clean and disinfect the many components of our Libraries. The safety of our staff and the public is of upmost priority. We appreciate your patience and support.
