We are pleased to announce the launch of Project Teen Lounge, a series of after-school programs for teens in grades 6-12. Programs will launch virtually starting in January 2021.
January programs include: Let’s Play: Among Us (January 12), art-making with recycled materials (January 13, 20, & 27), a career speaker (January 19) and a resume/cover letter workshop (January 26). Registration is open now!

In response to the Alameda County Health Officer Order No. 20-21 implementing the latest restrictions from the State of California, effective immediately, the San Leandro Public Library will be suspending on-site Curbside Holds Pickup services.

The most recent Alameda County Health Officer Order allows libraries to reopen at less than 25% capacity on October 9, 2020.
The San Leandro Public Library will not be reopening on October 9, 2020.
However, we are developing a plan to reopen our buildings as soon as possible. This plan includes making modifications to our library spaces and training library staff on required protocols including how best to clean and disinfect the many components of our Libraries. The safety of our staff and the public is of upmost priority. We appreciate your patience and support.

Choose one or more, then read, return, repeat! You can also write a review if you'd like. We have a great selection -- stop by anytime the Main Library is open. Best for teens in grades 8-12.
