The San Leandro Public Library will not be reopening on October 9, 2020.
However, we are developing a plan to reopen our buildings as soon as possible. The safety of our staff and the public is of upmost priority. We appreciate your patience and support.

In the face of escalating violent attacks against Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities the City of San Leandro and the Library stand in unity with our AAPI communities. The City of San Leandro condemns these assaults and incidents of anti-Asian sentiment. We stand in solidarity with our AAPI colleagues and community in denouncing racism and expression of hate, discrimination, and xenophobia of any kind.
Use the link in our bio to view our updated our Anti-racist Resources and Reads page to find booklists, resources, and information to combat racism.
