Project Teen Lounge

Funded by a grant from the California State Library, San Leandro Public Library is excited to offer after-school programming for teens starting virtually in January 2021.

Twice-weekly programs from January to May will offer teens opportunities to learn from local artists, engage in life skills workshops, connect with a variety of professionals around college and career planning, complete STEM/design projects, and build teamwork skills through collaborative gaming. Programs are open to teens in grades 6-12

Register for Dungeons & Dragons

Dungeons & Dragons is a collaborative roleplaying game — you'll create a character, and then, along with your teammates, go on an adventure — solving mysteries, conquering bad guys, and exploring new worlds! Along the way, you'll have the support of an experienced facilitator, who will help with everything from character creation to how to navigate the world of the game.

No experience necessary — all are welcome!
