Bicycle and Pedestrian Program

The goal of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is to set forth a blueprint for bicycle and pedestrian facilities throughout the city to enhance bicycle and walking as appropriate and healthful transportation choices for San Leandro residents. The Plan was reviewed by the Planning Commission, the Council's Facility and Transportation Committee and the full City Council. The City Council adopted the Plan at its March 18, 2018 meeting.

Funding for the update of the Plan was provided by Measure B Bicycle & Pedestrian funds administered by the Alameda County Transportation Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC). Information regarding this and other regional 'Measure B' funded projects/programs can be found on Alameda CTC's website.
